**I have been coaching in Chelsea since September, 2006. I coach both CAC and am an assistant coach with the Chelsea High School boys and girls swim teams.
**I have always loved swimming and grew up surrounded by water, but I did not begin swimming competitively until I was a freshman in high school.
**I am from Alpena, MI (4 hours north of Ann Arbor) and graduated from Alpena High School, Alpena Community College and the University of Michigan, with a major in political science and a minor in environmental programs. I have partially completed a graduate degree in urban planning at U of M as well.
**My parents still live in Alpena, where my father is a police detective and my mother is an instructor at Alpena Community College. My middle sister is in her fifth year of pharmacy school at Ferris State. My youngest sister is a sophomore at University of Michigan in the Business School.
**I swam distance in high school, so my favorite stroke is definitely freestyle (especially for distance), and if I had to pick a least favorite, it would probably be butterfly.
**When I'm not around the pool, I'm a huge fan of my Detroit sports teams (Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons and Lions) as well as Michigan sports. I also really enjoy getting out in nature with my bike, my hiking shoes, and my snowshoes in the winter. When I make it North I also try to go sailing as much as possible.
**There is nothing that I don't love about coaching in Chelsea. I have really enjoyed working with all the families that swim in Chelsea. Chelsea Rec and Chelsea School District do a great job of running programs in a relatively small district by Southeast Michigan standards. It has been my pleasure and priviledge to be a part of a successful swimming community in Chelsea! |

have been coaching in Chelsea since September 2007 after a year of watching the team from the lifeguard chair.
**I began swimming when i was three and joined the Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club when I was five.
**I
am from Saline and went to Saline High School. Now I go to the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
**My dad is an engineer for Ford Motor Company and my mom owns her own web design business. My little 20 year old brother is at Washtenaw Community College.
**My favorite stroke is the 50 freestyle (I swam the 50 freestyle in high school). Backstroke is my least favorite because when I was little, I thought I'd get my head stuck in the gutter if I swam into it, and I never got over it.
**Outside the pool, I love to bike, travel and cook. My greatest ambition is to travel around the world.
**I love the kids and community of Chelsea. Go CAC!

have been coaching in Chelsea since September 2009.
**I
began swimming competitively whe I was a nine years old.
**I
am from Bloomfield Hills and I am a senior at the University of Michigan. I will be graduating in political science and International Studies.
**I have two wonderful parents and a dog, who I will refer to as my sister, Snickers.
**I love backstroke and the Individual Medley (minus the butterfly).
**I love to speak Spanish and salsa dance, and I love to cook. I also love Harry Potter and Christmas!
**I love Chelsea because the team, the families and the the coaches are fun, friendly people. I love seeing the swimmers improve, and hearing stories from their lives outside the pool.
