Healthy Choices with our

Academics, Social Interaction, Physical Development and Nutrition

At Pierce Lake we strive to interact as a student, personnel, family team to create a comprehensive, enriching program for each student. Our emphasis on English Language Arts incorporates reading, writing and spelling throughout the curriculum. Our Everyday Math program spans a range of student learning needs. Social Studies and Science expand the practical knowledge base. To enrich our curriculum, the students experience art  and music instruction one day a week. Each class also completes computer projects throughout the year.
The Pierce Lake nutritional aim, as a component of the Move Forward! program, is to encourage students to eat more fruits and vegetables. We also encourage family physical activity with our  M ove Forward! fitness video and outdoor fitness center. The students practice lifelong wellness skills through their physical education class two days a week and daily afternoon recess.
Family helpers are very welcome. For the safety of our children, please stop at the office to sign in and receive a visitor badge when you come to share our day.
