School of Choice 

School of Choice 2023-2024

The Chelsea School District is a limited school of choice district. This means we offer one application window during which families can apply to attend as school of choice students for the following fall. Each year, we look at our current enrollment and estimate the number of students we can accept for school of choice slots.  A minimum of one (1) student in each grade level from Young Fives/Kindergarten through 12th grade will be available.

The 2023-2024 application window will be open from May 8, 2023 - June 7, 2023 (by 3:00pm).  Applications and the Affirmation of Prior Discipline Record will be available on this site just prior to May 8th. 

The Virtual School of Choice Lottery will take place on June 14, 2023 at 9:00am.  A zoom link will be provided prior to the drawing.  Please continue to check back to this web page.
