Mr. Morris enters his 18th year in the Chelsea School District and his 3rd year as the Assistant Athletic Director at Chelsea High School.  In addition to his athletic duties, Mr. Morris coordinates virtual learning for the high school, assists with senior discipline, and teaches two social studies classes.  Prior to arriving at Chelsea High School, Mr. Morris served as a social studies teacher at Beach Middle School for 15 years and spent 5 of those years as the Middle School Athletic Director.  

His hobbies include serving as the public address announcer for Chelsea Football and Chelsea Boys Basketball, as well as the University of Michigan Baseball and Men's Gymnastics Teams.

Mr. Morris is proud to call Chelsea home and resides here with his wife Bethany and daughter Kate, who is in 3rd grade and attends South Meadows Elementary School.  He also has two dogs, a boxer named Lacey and a pug named Cliff. 

Career Timeline:
1996-1998:  Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach @ Belleville High School
1999:  Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with degree in Secondary Education, along with a history major & geography minor
2001-2011:  Middle School Football Coordinator 8th Grade; Freshmen Basketball Coach; Freshmen/JV Baseball Coach
2001-2010:  Social Studies Teacher at Beach Middle School -- Chelsea, MI
2004:  Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College -- Detroit, MI
2011-2016:  Social Studies Teacher and AD at Beach Middle School -- Chelsea, MI
2016-present: Assistant AD and Social Studies Teacher at Chelsea High School -- Chelsea, MI
