Are you ready for another season of America’s pastime? Community Education will be fielding numerous teams for all minors divisions of baseball and softball. Baseball divisions will be Coach Pitch (ages 5 & 6), Intermediate (ages 7 & 8) and Player Pitch (ages 9 & 10). Softball divisions will be Coach Pitch (ages 5-7) and Player Pitch (8-10). Five year olds will only be eligible for coach pitch if they played one year of tee ball. Skills day will be held for player pitch divisions only.

Practices and games will be intermixed during the season and will take place on various fields, including South Meadows, Beach, WSEC, CHS and Dana fields. The final schedule will be posted prior to the start of the seasons. Your registration fee will include the cost of your player’s team jersey and hat. Player pitch registration will also include pants.  Player pitch teams will play both home and away games, with travel being primarily in the Jackson area.

We cannot run a successful program without the help of parent volunteers as managers. We will need a head coach/manager for each team. If you are interested in being the manager of a team, you will not be able to register online. Please call the Community Education office at (734) 433-2208, Ext. 6074.  Managers meetings will be held in April.
