Regrettably, we do not have enough courses/instructors available to put together our traditional Super Saturday program this winter.

Animals! Animals! Animals!

Come meet, see, and touch some animal friends. Week one will have some feathered and fuzzy friends, to be followed up the next week with Terrific Turtles.  Week Three will slither in with Snakes Alive, and for the Grand Finale we'll find out What's for Lunch...for the critters.   Otherwise called, come to the Feeding Frenzy!

This Super Saturday program is all about hands-on crafts for kids who prefer more physical forms of art.  Craft projects include papier-mache, recycled materials creations, tissue paper, and much more!  Each Saturday, your child will enjoy creative adventures that will spark their natural curiosity and develop their own journey of exploration and discovery.

Little Tigers Tae Kwon Do

Little Tigers is designed to explore and develop body awareness, flexibility and coordination.  The program utilizes tested and proven methods to increase attention spans, focus and physical control in young bodies.  Children will gain an understanding of balance and strength while concentrating on the importance of being physically fit.  Specially designed activities and exercises will teach priceless life lessons of integrity and discipline, and personal safety.

Mad Science
Mad Science of Detroit

Each workshop is an interactive, age-appropriate exploration of a specific science topic.  From air, our animal friends and butterflies to water, weather and worms, each themed program is designed to captivate the curious nature of young children.  Students enjoy engaging demonstrations, perform simple experiments and will discover how science can help us better understand the world around us!  In each class, children are encouraged to give science a try. The Jr. Scientists even get to take home their science experiment to continue the learning all week long!

Music Exploration
Kellie McInchak

This class will include singing, movement, and instrument playing as well as imaginative music games.  As a special treat, we'll learn a new "Hello" song with American Sign Language!  Each class will be tailored to meet the specific age group.

Sports Sampler
Jeremy Hodges

This PreK and K sports class will introduce a variety of age appropriate exciting games and activities. There will be some minor work on skills, but the majority of the time will be learning through play.  You won’t want them to miss the non-stop excitement!  Each week a new theme is featured and will teach new activities for the whole family to enjoy!  There will be a variety of challenges that will keep everyone moving and having fun!

Young Yogis
Breathe Yoga

Developing strong bodies and calm minds, this energizing class for young yogis introduces children to the many benefits of yoga and lays the foundation for developing a lifelong practice for ongoing well-being.  Through creative, flowing sequences, playful yoga games, and soothing relaxation techniques, kids will build balance, flexibility, and self-esteem in a non-competitive setting, which in turn promotes a valuable sense of community and compassion towards others. Boys and girls will need their own mat for class.
