DANGER ZONE
The loading and unloading area around the school bus is called the Danger Zone.
The Danger Zone is the area on all sides of the bus where children are in the most danger of not being seen by the bus driver. Ten feet in front of the bus, ten feet on either side of the bus, and the area behind the bus, are all within the Danger Zone. Students should always quickly and safely exit the bus, and stay out of the Danger Zone.
